Citizens for Conservation

Purchase 34 native shrubs to plant in their Craftsbury Preserve which will provide food, shelter and nesting opportunities for shrubland birds.

Preservation Foundation of the Lake County Forest Preserve

Purchase native seeds and plugs to continue to restore the Grassy Lake Forest Preserve to native prairie and will be planted in areas where invasive species have been removed..

Create a community garden for their preschool location at Citizen's Park.

Garfield Park Community Council

Equip gardeners with training and supplies needed to create and expand their community gardens, support civic plantings, and preserve urban lots for nature spaces like the Eco-Orchard.

Purchase plants for their sensory garden, plant an 8-foot Hawthorne tree, and a sunflower growing kit.

Kaleidoscope School of Fine Art

Establish a native and pollinator-supporting Sketching Garden that will serve as an outdoor classroom for their students.

Contribute to the establishment of a new garden to add seasonal color and visual interest to the entrance of the Woodlands Impact Center in Carpentersville, IL.
